Funding Awarded to Build Madison II Apartments

Phoenix Community Development Services is excited to announce we have been awarded $5.5 million from the Illinois Housing Development Authority to build a new mid-rise apartment building in downtown Peoria! The Madison II Apartment project is a four story building featuring 24 one bedroom apartments with tenant amenities and commercial office space on the ground floor. This project will not only create jobs in our community, but will build capacity to bring us closer to our goal of ending homelessness. We are eagerly looking forward to breaking ground in the Fall.
